You have probably heard that the Credit Union is moving out of the District Office. I just wanted to let all of our Credit Union Members know that we are still the same credit union that we have always been. We will still have Brad and Sherry taking care of the day-to-day operations as well as the same members on the board and the other committees. The main thing that most of you will notice is that the Credit Union will no longer be located in the District Office. We are in the process of finding a location to operate out of that is as close to the District Office as possible for our members’ convenience.
The goal of the board of directors is to provide the same services with the same people operating it. All accounts are and will continue to be federally insured up to $250,000 each so there is no danger of anyone losing any of their investments. The Credit Union is financially sound and profitable. We are well capitalized, with sufficient equity and reserves, and we do not anticipate a change to that status while we move forward. We will still be able to do payroll deduction for your share accounts and loan payments.
